Why Ephemeral Port Binding for vCSA 6

Why it is required to have ephemeral port binding to deploy vcsa 6? and second question is what if i have standard switch only vcsa 6 deployment?

Ephemeral binding gives flexibility to manage virtual machine connections through the ESXi host even if vCenter is down or not available.

ESXi hosts can manage these Ephemeral binding PortGroups and VM connections.

I believe that is the reason why vCSA deployment do not support non-Ephemeral PortGroups.

I didn't find any VMware document which can confirm it but here is a tweet from William Lam.

Yes, You can use standard switch to deploy vCSA, later on successful configuration you can change vCSA PortGroup to dvSwitch if needed.

i was suspecting the same reason as well. but this should be just recommendation not to be mandatory. i think either it is flaw in product or there must be another strong reason of restricting in this way.
