What triggers the Health status monitoring??

I'm having a hard time finding out what is triggering the alert.

vcenter alert.jpg

First i thought it was because one of my esxi's did not show its hardware status but i fixed this error and still i'm getting the alert.

does anyone have an idea what could trigger the alert

I found this in the log book:

Event ID 2527 — Service Account Configuration The directory-server is not able

Could this me what the is triggering the Alert?

It's not the ESXi hosts, but the vCenter Server itself or its plugins that has the error. Go to Home->Administration->vCenter Service Status, and you will probably see what's causing it.

Which vCenter version are you on, and which of the lines in the vCenter Service Status is showing up as red?
