What DB am I using

Hi Folks,

I have inherit a vSphere virtual infrastructure. I am looking to find out which database the vCenter installation utilises.

I can't see this configured anywhere in the vSphere client. My ODBC settings point at two SQL databases and I'm unsure which one is live.

Is there an easy way to tell which DB my vCenter Server is using?

Thanks,

Tostao

Hi,

on your vCenter Server run regedit.

go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware VirtualCenter\DB

the 1 holds the name of the used DB (the DSN created with ODBC).

Regards
