Web Client stuck in initializing 5.5

hi guys

Web client gives a lot of headaches and I know I can reset it by stop and start service but this is too much....I've done that a lot already

today I found that after using my user-password to log in web client is stuck at initializing....

by the way I already  increased memory and CPU, right now vCenter has 4 vCPUs and 12 GB RAM

any idea what logs to check? to fix this issue?

Hi ,

If you are using domain userid and password then try to put the userid as Domain\Userid

And if you are using the normal windows login id then click on the Use Window session authentication and login

we are no using any domain... it's local accounts in the vCenter

Hi, Then make sure the local userid you are using is added in Administrator group and having full permission of vCenter

OK, it's not matter of users-domain-permissions I used this account before on this webclient-vcenter but access fails a lot and when I say fails I mean web client won't load or it loads and fails to load the interface or in this case it's stuck initializing

so it's something with the we client itself not the users

I have the same problem web client is sucks I don't know why you don't keep it simple and allow us to mange even 10.x workstation with vsphere client. I have been wasting 24 hours for nothing resolving one problem gives another one.I have the same issue btw , it is stuck in initializing.

Well , I am not sure if you tried to install vcenter client integration plugin which comes in popup when you open the vcenter webpage.

I was also sucked enough with this issue and after a quite research i was missing with that client integration plugin. After installing it comes from 4 hour > 14 seconds.
