Vmware data loss during the backup

Hi,

Can you please tell me is there any possibility to loss data during the vmware data recovery backup is in progress?

while creating the snapshot or while backing up data.

There are chances when you take snapshots during the backup process and if the snapshots gets corrupted due to issues like not sufficient space.
