VmWare EVC needed for like servers?

I have a question, we have 3 Dell PE R810s in a cluster they all have the same exact configurations (processor, ram, hd) is there any point to enabling EVC on that cluster?  Will I gain any performance increases from it?  The processor is the Intel Xeon X7560 and it shows they are all compatable with the Intel Xeon Core i7 mode.  I don't ever see the need to add another host to the cluster unless it's an identical model.

My experiance ive never seen really much difference in perfomance with/without EVC enabled. I would just leave it off as the processors are all in the same family with the same instruction set.
