VirtualCenter service fails to start after replacing ssl sertificate

Hi I

I'm using virtual center 2.5

I used an Openssl server to create and install new certificates for the VirtualCenter server

When I replace the rui.crt, rui.key, and rui.pfx files with the newly-created certificates the VirtualCenter service fails to start.

When i return the original rui.crt, rui.key, and rui.pfx files the VirtualCenter service starting successful

How can I overcome this problem ?

Thanks in advance

You'll need to run vpxd.exe -p to re-encrypt the database password with the new cert. See this KB article - http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003070.
