VirtualCenter manage VMware Server?

We currently use VMware Server (the free edition), and a licensed copy of VirtualCenter for VMware Server.

We're considering adding some ESX servers to our infrastructure. I assume in that case we would need to switch to the full version of VirtualCenter.

My question is, will the full paid version of VirtualCenter manage both ESX and VMware Server platforms? I'd like one GUI interface to manage both my ESX and VMware Server hosts.

Thanks,

Shane

VC 2 can not manage VMware Server and VC 1.4 can not manage ESX 3.

This (presumably) will change with VMware Server 2 - no I don't have a release date (I'm not a VMware guy) and no VMware won't tell you (or me).
