VirtualCenter cannot add ESX clients...server agent is not responding

Hi,

We recently got a GO ahead for testing out VMware on our citrix enviroment.I had download ESX3.0 and installed it on a couple of machine.

I also have the VIC (Virtual intfrastructure client ) configured and can access all the ESX server fine.

Here is the problem:-

Even though i have Vmotion/DRS/HA i cannot see it through VIC,so i download the virtual center 1.4.1 and installed it to run on msaccess , i can log into the center but cannot add servers it comes up with a message "server agent is not responding" ...

I also tried telneting in to the system, but it give an internal error so i know that the port is open.

Please help!!!!!

Thanks

You need virtualcenter 2.0 to connect esx 3.0 i suppose.

Telnet is disabled, you need to use ssh but, if you want to use root account, you need to enable it in /etc/ssh/sshd_config and restart sshd.
