Hello,
I want to relay Virtual Center Web Access through an SSL-accelerator. So I need to be able to run VCWA without SSL, is that possible somehow?
I tried port 80 which is just redirecting to SSL of 443 (standard HTTPS).
Anyway of using webaccess against a standalone ESX 3i without the use of Virtual Center?
(we need to have both access to the machines console and settings, about the same as VCWA)
Anyone?
I had an hour of spare time yesterday so I had a look at this. I found a file at this location:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\proxy.xml
In this file there are a couple of entries like this:
Change the content of the tag called accessMode to "httpAndHttps" instead of "httpsWithRedirect"
Do this for the folders you would like both http and https access to. I did this to be able to use VC with an external SSL accelerator/offloader.
