Virtual Servers and SAN

Hi ,

My system is ESX server 3.0.

I have few virtual servers running on SAN iscsi storage.

Our SAN is running on NetAPP 30200 series.

I want to add another iscsi drive from the SAN to one of those virtual servers.

Can it be done ?

Is that recommended ?

Thanks

Yep, you can add more luns to for the host to access. You can add more hard drives to the virtual machine

just need to create your aggregate, carve up a LUN give the ESX access, then scan from ESX to pickup new iSCSI LUN.. that should be it..!!
