Virtual Machine Config file does not exist

Hi All:

I tried to open a console session with one of my Virtual machines and I get a black screen and then a little pop up line that says the Virtual Machine Config file does not exist. I then browsed the datastore and the vmx file is right where it is supposed to be. The config of the virtual machine is pointing to it.

Any ideas?

Just to let you know what happened. A co-worker made a change on the san and thus caused the ESX box to lose connectivity with the Luns. HA took over and failed everything over to the other ESX server in the cluster. I rebooted the original box and everything is good now.
