Virtual Floppy problem

I tried to use Connect to Virtual Floppy and selected a floppy image but it displayed a message "The floppy drive could not be connected"

what version of esx are you using? Where do you have the floppy image stored?

I tried ESX server version 3.0.2 and 3.5. The floppy image stored on remote client desktop.

and you are able to successfully browse to the datastore where the floppy image is stored?
