Vcenters in Linked mode 7.0.2 Updates Build: 1845518

We have two Vcenters in linked mode and some storage maintenance scheduled, one vcenter needs to be powered off for 6 hours. Is there a maintenance mode to leave one on or what is best way to not affect both vcenters? Perhaps power off both Vcenters?

Thank You

I may be missing something here, but is this not the scenario ELM is used for i.e. prod and DR?

Hi ,

If you have a requirement to keep one of the vCenter  in powered off state which is in linked mode then please go ahead and do it as it will not create any issues with ELM and once the vCenter is up both will sync and work as expected .

There is no maintenance mode in vCenter ELM

Please mark my comment as the Correct Answer/Kudos if this solution resolved your problem Thank you.

ELM just allows you to log in to all vCenter Server instances with a single username and password, view inventories of all linked vCenter Server instances. Roles, permissions, licenses, tags, and policies are replicated across linked vCenter Server instances. They will all sync when powered back on.
