Vcenter always show disconnected

Hi,

I have two ESX Server. I have sucessfully managed by VC before.

When both ESX is shutdown and then power up. one of the esx cannot be managed by the virtual center. I even reconnect or remove the host and add again. It doen't seem to work.

It is a new setup. I think the esx agent need to uninstall. Please advise how to installed if needed.

Did you use the FQDN when adding to VC.

Also make sure your root passsword is correct.

Hi,

Try un-installing vpxa. Log into ESX console and run the following command:

Rpm –e `Rpm –qa |grep vpxa`

After that, add the hosts again.

Thanks.
