Vcenter Service doesnt start after changing the port Number

Hi All,

I accidentally changed the port number for the Vcenter server from the VCenter portal to 10443 and dint realise that Java application uses 10443 as well.

Now im unable to start the vcenter server service ,as its throwing a error saying 10443 port is already being used byt another application.

I tried to stop the Java service ,so i can start the vcenter service and make changes to port numbers again , but im unable to stop the java application.

Please , if anyone know how to change the Vcenter port number through config or any other way , please throw a comment....Its highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nirmal

If using MSSQL database, locate WebService.Ports.http in VPX_PARAMETER table and change for the correct port.
