I am in the process of renaming our Datastore Volumes to coincide with our SAN Volumes. I do have some VM's with shared RDM's (clustering). With renaming a Datastore which holds the location of the shared VM *.vmdk file, will that potentially cause issues or even loss of connectivity?
The RDM's are in physical mode.
I also have VMware Data Recovery running - with renaming Datastores, can this impact the backup/restore jobs or even the repository?
