VMware Web Client Wrapper Crash

Hello,

fresh vCenter 5 on Windows 2008 R2 SP1 full Patched.

After installing the WebClient the service is terminated directly.

Wrapper.log in DMServer shows:

This worked for me:

1) Create the folder structure for vSphere Web Client. (C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\vSphere WebClient as default)

2) Create a symlink "C:\VWC" by running mklink /d C:\VWC "C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\vSphere Web Client"

3) Install the Web Client into C:\VWC.

I apply the vmware KB as you indicate below but it was not enough.

I had to edit the file "wrapper.conf" for this to work.

The KB does not refer to this change.

My problem is solved.
