VMware Virtual Center 2.5 Foundation

Hello,

Do you know if the Vmware vCenter 2.5 foundation has the Converter pluging - like the vCenter Enterprise ?

The only major difference between vCenter Foundation and vCenter Enterprise is the amount of ESX hosts you can manage. You can still use the Converter plug-in with vCenter Foundation.

I don't think so, I believe that is only available in Enterprise. You can download the stand alone client for free though

I've got vCenter Foundation managing two ESX hosts and I can use the Converter 4.0 plug-in without issue. I don't believe vCenter Foundation is limited in this way.

yeah, you are correct, I was unsure of my statement when I first posted. Thanks for the clarification! Smiley Happy
