VMware Update Manager Install Failed: VCenter Server credentials could not be verified

When attempting to install VMware Update Manager 5.1 on Windows 2008 R2 , but then fails:

Well your rui.crt and rui.key files have become 0 sized which is why this problem is occurring. Stop the autodeploy service and try the installation again.

Are you able to login to VC with those credentials?

If yes, do you have autodeploy installed on this VC?

If yes, what is the file size of autodeploy certs(typically located @ C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware vSphere Auto Deploy\ssl)?

This issue may occur when the %TEMP% and %TMP% environment variables have a space in the path.you must check in the computer properties and set the system %TEMP% and %TMP% environment variables to a path that contains no spaces and restart the Update Manager install wizard. Hope this will work.

I have checked %TEMP% and %TMP% environment variables, They haven't  a space in the path.

Yes, Use those credentials,I successfully can login to VC.

vSphere Auto Deploy (Version: 5.1.0.4624)  was installed on this VC.

C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware vSphere Auto Deploy\ssl> dir

2011-09-30  13:36             1,050 rbd-ca.crt

Uninstall vSphere Auto Deploy,  Successfully install VMwreUpdate Manager.
