    Hello,

This may be a stupid question but I can't figure it out. I am currently running VirtualCenter within a Guest in my ESX3.5 cluster. When I right click on the VirtualCenter VM, it does not give me the option to use VMotion or edit the VM. It is really strange to me, because I am pretty sure that I was able to do those things in the past with previous versions. It is really quite a pain to deal with when I need to make changes to the Cluster, etc, since I cannot do anything with the VirtualCenter VM unless I power it off.

Any help and insite would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Chris

could be that an old task is causing this. RDP into the VC VM and restart the VC Service and see what happens.

Duncan, Thanks for the quick reply. The VM VirtualCenter has been rebooted many times, I have also restarted the VirtualCenter Service with no luck. 1 think to note: I am VirtualCenter and the DB on the same guest.

    Thanks.
