I recently upgraded from VMWare 2.5u3 to u4. Everything was successful including installing the Performance Overview module.
My VCS is running on Windows Server 2003 Standard SP2 and MS SQL 2000 SP4.
However most of my hosts and most of my VM's only show Realtime data.
I can't seem to find any correlation why some work and some do not.

Hy,
is the sql browser service running. Is there Data to view in the old Performance Charts?
#Restart the Vmware Webacces Service, only this one. Leave all other Services running.
#If the Data is there an not displayed, try the remove Webacces and Reinstall Web Access thing. (Add Remove Programms, => Change Programm Vmware, => Remove & Reinstall, => Install the plugin)
PS: If this is a fresh install of the Center or new added ESX & I. Then the data will be displayed after some days. When you select 1Month the Center must be running for 1 Month.

In my case this was an upgrade.
Browser Agent is running
I have done all the possible things
Restart the web services
Re-install Web-access.
Re-install Virtual Center
It works on some hosts and some vm's and not on others
The data is there, bit for some reason is not being collected correctly by the Java App.

I've followed all these steps except a complete uninstall and reinstall. I've read the KB articles that applied to me and still the same. I was hopeing someone found a fix without having to do it again.
We are having the same issue.
Also I realized that after using the performance overview the tomcat server at virtual center often needs a lot of memory - even if you close your VC Client.
