VM performance counters question

Hello,

I have such question, please take a look on attached screen from VC. Marked VM is in Resource Group that has shares Normal, and Limi 8000. This VM (windows 2003) has 2vCPU and 3GB RAM set. What do these counter mean? How much in fact does this VM consume memory from Host, and how much it is assigned to the system?

How to check if it is running at full RAM availability? I mean, if someone says: hey, this server is slow performance, how to fully confirm what is actual usage of memory assigned to this VM?

IMHO, memory size, size granted, active memory, etc. are best gathered from esxtop. Take a look at this http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/perf_analysis_methods_tn.pdf and see if it helps you with the various counters.
