VM listed in multiple datastores

I have several datastores on an IBM SAN:

images1

volume1

volume2

volume3

When I create a new VM on volume1-3 it shows up in VC in the volume I created it on AND in images1. When I look directly at the volumes the VM has been created in the correct place and NOT in images1. I removed a VM from the inventory completly then added it back to the inventory and it showed up again in both volumes.

Anybody seen this before?

Do you have an ISO image CD or floppy mounted from "images1" on your

VMs? Check their configuration, there must be a link to images1

somewhere in there.

J

Yep. All those machines had an ISO listed but NOT connected. I removed the connection to the ISO and all the VM's got removed from the images1 datastore.

Thanks
