During cold migration of 5 VMs, one of them fails with the following error:
General fault caused by file. \[sanvmfs1]<VMname.vmdk>
Could somebody please give me an explanation or even better a fix or a workaround?

I found more questions than anwers. Looks lika a lot af people has serious problems and no solution in sight.
look for more specific info in the vmkernel and VM logs (no need to look at eventvwr of the guest).
