Hi! I'm somewhat new to vmware and I'm trying to have 2 or 3 vm's running at the same time. WinXP is the host, with WinServer 2003 as guests. The host has network connectivity , the 1st vm has network connectivity, but the 2nd does not(bridged or host only, I've tried both.). Which guest I start first gets an IP address, then 2nd gets "Limited network connectivity" with MS's 169.254.x.x network address.
Any ideas about where I've gone astray?
VMware-server-2.0.1-156745 or VMware-player-2.5.1-126130
Dell 620 laptop with Broadcom NeXtreme 57xx nic. I've tried both Automatic bridging and manual config.
