VM Permissions

Hi There

I have an issue with VM permissions, we have a group of VMs that as administrators we should not be allowed to connect to, i have removed all admin accounts from the administrators local group on the vCenter server, i have created a new group and given this group administrator access at the datacenter level and propogated it down the folder structure. on the folder we need to remove our access from i have set the new group to the no access role.

My managers account is still in the administrator group and he should be the only user remianing with access to this folder, however even though we can no longer see the folder containing the VMs if we switch to the Hosts view we can see the VM, i have no permission to edit the VM but can still connect to the console.

is this an inheritance issue? is there any way to block our access to these VMs but still retain admin access to the rest of vSphere?
