VM Backups in vSphere 7.0

What are the best options for VM backups in 7.0? I've been using Microfocus VM Explorer for years, but I need to purchase again since I upgraded from 6.7. That's fine, but I've seen some info about AOMEI, so I wondered if anyone has experience with that or any other solutions.

This would strictly be for disaster recovery for the VMs themselves. I'm already using Veritas Backup Exec 21 to back up data kept in separate LUNs from the VMs.

What's the size of your environment, e.g. # of hosts, # of VMs that you want to backup, ...?

Thanks. I have 1 vcenter and 3 hosts with over 100 VMs, but I only need to back up 12 of them.
