VIC 2.5 server problems...

We have been having a problem where the VMware Virtual Center Server Service keeps failing and has to be restarted on a regular basis, has anyone experienced this before? If so are there any corrective actions? Can it affect HA licesning at all?

Hi, welcome to the forums.

Do you get anything in the VC server logs, or Windows Event Viewer? To check the VC logs, log into VC, click on the Administration button in the tool bar -> click System logs and change the drop down to VirtualCenter Server Log for the Date/time. start with the Log ending in vpxd-index it will just give you a number but that will tell you which "VirtualCenter System Log http://vpxd-x.log" is current.

Thanks,

Neil
