VI Client support for x64 operating systems

Hello,

In BETA archives I found a discussion (http://communities.vmware.com/message/785069?tstart=0#785069) that asked for a support of VI client on x64 OS.

Is there any timeline for this support? I've now to use a virtual machine :smileycool: in my local VMWare Server just for the management of my new version VC.

there is a workaround for this, by editing the msi package so as not to detect the version of the OS.

As for a permanent fix, VMware are working on this but I have not heard a definite delivery date.

Any luck editing the MSI? I haven't found out how to do this. Thanks!
