VI Client 2.5 "Not Responding"

I am trying t configure some ESX hosts and as I switch back and forth between the hosts, I do this maybe twice at the most. and the client will freeze and sat "not repsonding" on the title bar. I have tried this from several machines with no success. Any suggestions?

To me it sounds like a network problem.

Look for duplicate IPs or maybe routing problems.

While working on the VI try ping -t command to the ESX servers to check the response time, and maybe try tracert.

In addition, check for correct DNS resolution.

I dicovered the issue. I was trunking the line to the network adapter, but the port groups were not setup yet. Since I fixed that I have not had an issue with that.
