VCenter server License Remove Is Inactive

Hi there, everyone. Because of a stuck update, I want to reinstall VCenter from scratch and would like to remove my license from the server. However, the remove tool located under Administration > Licenses is not active
Why is the removal not active?

Hi,

you don't need to remove the license from the server. You can have the same license in more VCSA but only one can be running at the same time.

So when you delete this VCSA or doesn't power it up, then you don't need to do anything with the license.
