VCenter Appliance and "run a command" alarm action

Hi,

I would like to know if the "run a command" alarm action is supported on the linux based vcenter appliance? Is there anything I need to take care of in terms of configuration? I am trying to run a .sh script which calls a tcl script.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums

You should put the full path in the command to be run - assuming that script is there

This example on this post - should point you in the right direction

Unfortunately though I do not know if you the vCenter appliance will support such a script.
