Are you using patch iso or trying to update online using repository?

can you try to download the patch iso from https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/patch#search for VC7.0 and let us know if that works.

Hi,

I tried, as you see from the screenshot in my previous message, did it both from repository and ISO (with different ISO builds) but without success. I tried first step only (stage), 0% downloaded.

When I connected the ISO and tried applied the patch, here is output for ISO "ISO Images/VMware-VCSA-all-7.0.1-17004997.iso"

Teh ISO image you mentioned is the one for new installations, and upgrades.

The one you need to patch/update the appliance is named like VMware-vCenter-Server-Appliance-7.0.1-xxxxxxx-patch-FP.iso, and can be downloaded from the Patch portal.
