VCSA 6.0 VMware Content Library Service

It seems as though the Content Library Service has up and vanished from my vCenter Services. I created a content library back in April. I went to delete and add an online library I built and it wouldn't work. I dug around and did some homework and found where the core services were. I used a BASH shell command to try and start it. I figured it wouldn't work, but here is what it spit back.

Has anyone had issues with their content library before?

What version of vCenter? This looks pretty nasty and given that you haven't received a response yet, have you opened a ticket with GSS?

Update.  After further troubleshooting I looked closer at the log files.    Saw an issue with writing a PID file.

DEBUG  | wrapper  | 2016/07/07 11:13:53 | An encoding declaration is missing from the top of configuration file, /etc/vmware/wrapper_linux.conf, trying the system encoding.

DEBUG  | wrapper  | 2016/07/07 11:13:53 | active log file changed: /var/log/vmware/vdcs/wrapper.log

DEBUG  | wrapper  | 2016/07/07 11:13:53 | active log file changed: /var/log/vmware/vdcs/wrapper.log

ERROR  | wrapper  | 2016/07/07 11:13:53 | 15676 pid file, /var/log/vmware/vdcs/vmware-vdcs.pid, already exists.

FATAL  | wrapper  | 2016/07/07 11:13:53 | ERROR: Could not write pid file /var/log/vmware/vdcs/vmware-vdcs.pid: Inappropriate ioctl for device

I renamed an old existing PID file in that log directory for VMware Content Library and tried again starting the service.   Worked.
