VCB for Linux VM's

Are there any plans to bring out a release of Consolidated Backup that will work for Linux hosts as well as MS Windows Server 2003?

I think it's a limitation from Windows, it can't read Ext partitions...

You can install the legacy linux backup agent from Veritas/Symantec website, and edit the "agent" file as needed to export "LUNS" the vmdk file reside for the Netbackup to sees it

You can still do an image level "FullVM" level backup of Linux VMs - that is a full backup of the VMDKs and associated files. It's only the "File Level" backups that are Windows only.

The vcbMounter switch is "-t fullvm"[/b].
