VCB and VMware tools problem

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with VMware tools.

The problem is that VMware tools IS installed on the machines, but when I look in vCenter the VMware tools appear 'not running'.

When I log into the machine, log out again and look again. The VMware tools appear 'running'.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Now the second question I have in the context of this problem is : does this have an impact on VCB?

Does VCB need VMware tools to backup a VM? In other words: Does VCB need VMware tools to make a snapshot of a VM?
