VCB 1.0.3 with ARCserve 11.5 r3

Does anyone has experience using VCB 1.0.3 on a W2003 SP2 Proxy Server together with the ARCserve solution from QO87405.CAZ (for ARCserve r11.5 SP3)?

I have some VCB 1.0.2 on W2003SP2 proxy and ArcServe 11.5SP3 working.

Have to wait until september to upgrade VCB to 1.0.3

Do you have any new solution until now?

I want to install only arcserve agent on vcb proxy, but in this case ca bab integration module commands... like pre_command.wsf can't find anything in registry.. so I need to install Arcserve Server anyway...

I read in the "Best Practices Guide for VMware ESX Server Backup" that you need to install the full Brightstor ARCserve Backup produkt.

No info that the windows agent is enough for using the *.wsf scripts.

if you have a separate arcserve backup server and separate vcb proxy server, you dont need the full arcserve in the vcb proxy. you need the full arcserve somewhere. the vcb proxy needs at least the arcserve for windows agent.
