VCB 1.0.3 can resolve guests by display name? No worky with Networker 7.3

Per the release notes at http://www.vmware.com/support/vi3/doc/releasenotes_vcb103.html -

New Method to Identify Virtual Machines

Before backing up a virtual machine using vcbMounter in the service console, you need to specify the virtual machine you want to back up. Prior to this release, virtual machines were identified using their DNS name or IP address only. This release supports identifying virtual machines by their display name when performing queries. Use this option if you have multiple virtual machines with the same IP address, but with different names.

I'm trying to backup Guests that are in my DMZ and therefore don't have names/ips that resolve on my VCB proxy.

I'm sucessfully backing up resolvable, internal hosts using saveset lines like -

VM:myvm.company.com:FULL

For DMZ hosts I've tried lines like-

VM:myvm.:\*FULL*

VM:myvm:\*FULL*

VM:MYVM:FULL

to no avail... Can this work? Does it do what it says on the box? Is the syntax different?

XOXO

Luke

Ah, figured it out.

I had upgraded VCB and not overwritten my config file. The new default config file in 1.0.3 has a bunch of new options in it. The documentation should cover this...
