VC permissions disappear when Domain Server go down.

Hello, I am having issues with VC and permissions.

When I configure VC, I use my Domain Users and Groups to set those permissions. However I have noticed that if my Domain server go down or are unavailable, then I loose all of the permissions I had set in VC and must reset them..

Is there something I am doing wrong or a way around this?

VC is on a windows server that is a member controller in the domain.

Thx, Ron Norman

Have you tried just restarting Virtual Center when this happens? (after restoring your DC to service)

Also, best practice is to use local groups on the member server assigned to permissions/roles in VC, and add your global domain groups/users to these local groups.

Thx, I will give both of those a try. Good feedback.

Cheers,

You should also have 2 dc's for redundancy.
