VC ESX host performance collection has periodic gaps

we have, in our VC 2.0.1 / ESX 3.0.x environment, the effect that historic performance data for the ESX hosts ( last month, last year ) only show data for each Sunday through Monday, rest of each week has no data. I can see no external reason for this. Any explanations ?

I'm seeing the same problem on an ESX 3.5.0, 110181 box... weird.

We are at VC 2.5 and ESX 3.5. We have had this same issue for a while now (4 to 5 months). We have a ticket open with VMWare and they have not been able to resolve it. Does anybody have any idea as to why we would have 10 minute gaps in our performance data. It appears to only show in the Past Day view and does not show in the Real-time view.

We are running SQL 2005 and it shows the roll up jobs running just fine with no errors.

Any help is greatly appreaciated.
