Hi everyone!
I have a VC 2.0.2 database running on an Oracle back end. There are 132 Virtual machines in 2 clusters, 9 hosts and 41 resource pools.
We're seeing this error oppearing regularly in the Oracle logs:
-
WARNING: Alert log errors found for db0724p (10.2.0.3) on apu002:
ORA-01555 caused by SQL statement below (SQL ID: 0gqrk8zuv9u60, Query Duration=6667 sec, SCN: 0x001f.f76c0b64):
Thu Oct 18 11:18:49 2007
SELECT ID FROM VPX_ENTITY WHERE EXISTS ( SELECT 1 FROM VPX_HIST_STAT HS WHERE HS.ENTITY_ID = VPX_ENTITY.ID)
Thu Oct 18 11:25:09 2007
================================================================
My DBAs have said that this means the query is taking too long to run. As far as I know, the ID and ENTITY_ID keys are indexed in both tables.
Is anyone else seeing this?
Thanks,
Greg
