VC 2.5 on ESX 3.5

hello,

I would wish to know s' it is judicious to put the VirtualCenter (VC2.5) machine on ESX 3.5 ?

there is no problem in running VC in a virtual machine - remember vc acts as a proxy and if the esx host it is on files it will not affect any of the other esx hosts it is managing - in fact if you have HA it will still work with the VC not running - HA functionality is pushed down to the esx hosts -

You can even Vmotion the VC server from host to host while it's running. Considering it's the VC server that handles the Vmotion, that's pretty amazing. It's usually a good idea to keep tabs on what host the VC server is running on though. Just in case.
