VC 2.5 and Update Signature task

I've noticed everytime I reboot the VC server and login to the VC the first time after the reboot down in the task section is a queued task called "Update Signature" and it stays in queue status for about 4 mins and then changes to completed. I just wanted to know if this is normal for this to run after each VC server reboot.

I noticed this too. Our server randomly does update signature whenever I do certain things on the VM's also.. I am not sure what its doing, but it does the same to us each time VC is rebooted.

but it doesn't occur right away, sometimes it takes a few minutes.
