VC 2.5 - Performance data - missing 10 min gaps

Hi all.

Weird problem in VC 2.5

I tend to get small 10 min gaps in my performance graphs. All servers are ok.

(Please se the added picture)

Any idea or anyone seen this before?

Regards

Kristian

Hi Kristian,

I've seen it here, too. But I didn't find an explanation for that...

Kristian,

I have been looking for an answer to this same problem. Only some of the virtual machines have this problem. It is sporadic on both my current hosts. I have seen several other threads and they mention time sync, and possibly some long running stat rollup jobs. In my install it only affects "Past Day", all other charts are fine and have no gaps.

Me too. My hosts (ESX 3.5 update 1) seem ok but most of my VM's have gaps. We run oracle for the backend db too.

Hello,

We have the same thing happening. 10 minute gap in day view. It will not show in the other views because the roll up jobs roll up the 5 minute intervals into 30 minute intervals. So, your gaps will disappear in the views that are older than a day.

So far, vmsupport has not been much help.

Has anybody found a solution to this yet?

We are running vm 2.5, ESX 3.5 and MS SQL as our DB.

Thanks,

Ryan
