VC 2.5 Console cann't open

Hi all,

we are using Virtual Center 2.5 Ver now i faced the issue. Issue is while i taken the vm console through Vi Client i am getting the following error message" cannot connect to the host, the connection attempted failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time. Do you want to try again? Yes or no."

Pls suggest me Smiley Happy

Hey Kumar,

Remote into the server hosting VC and make sure your services are running, try restarting them and try opening VC client from within that server.

just check whether the hostd daemon is working fine or not

Thanks to all..

I just followed the solution provide in the below thread which sorted out my issue. But still to dig deeper i would like to know how was it stopped working suddenly eventhough we haven't made any changes in the Network level...
