Utilization false positive

We have a cluster of 4 ESX 3.02 servers

One of these has the warning trigger set but looking at his state both cpu and memory are well below the trigger's warning threshold.

Is there a way to clear it ?

Is there a way I can define a trigger for a resources threshold AND time ?

For example %CPU used FOR a time range ( ie 5minutes )

How can I acknowledge a VM alarm and clear it from the VC ?

You cannot setup an alarm based on time, that has been a feature request for some time now and hopefully be added in a later release. It sucks when you're cpu blips to 100% for a few seconds and you get those false alerts.

Try restarting mgmt-vmware and/or vmware-vpx services or editing the alarm and disabling it, saving it and re-enabling it...
