  • 1.  Use System Account option is disabled

    Hi al;

    When Installing vCenter Server 4.0, in the vCenter Server Service page, the Use System Account option is dimmed and I cannot select it. Why?

    P.S. This option is availble when I use SQL Express, but when I use Use An Existing Supported Database, the mentioned option is disabled...

    Can anyone help me?

    Which database is your existing supported one?

    SQL Server 2005 with Service Pack 3.

    Is your SQL server configured to use Windows authentication?

    If so, you can't use the system account.
