Upgrading vCenter version 2.5.0 Build 119598

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade vCenter from my current version 2.5.0 build 119598. Could someone please tell me what the latest version is that I can upgrade to & what steps do I need to take to upgrade?

I am using ESX 3.5.

Hello.

The latest version of vCenter 2.5 Update 5 is build 174841 - check out the release notes for all the information about installing and/or upgrading.

The latest version of vCenter is 4.0 - check out the release notes for all the information about installing and/or upgrading.

The Installation Guides, referenced in each of the respective release notes, are great resources for upgrading.

thanks. Is it possible to upgrade from vCenter update 3 to update 5 or do you need to first upgrade to update 4 and then 5?

You can upgrade from U3 to U5.
