Upgrading ESXi to 6.7U3 - prevent move of VM's

I am doing an upgrade of ESXi servers and I will be powering down the VM's. How do I prevent VM's from migrating off of other hosts to the one I am working on? Is disabling DRS enough or should I disable vMotion on the vSwitch(s) instead? Yes, I know I could leave the VM's on and they would auto migrate in maintenance mode but this is what management prefers.

TIA

The "Enter Maintenance Mode" dialog provides an option to decide whether, or not to move powered off, and suspended VMs to other hosts.

Understood, but once when I started powering down VM's on one host VM's from another host started populating the host I was working on, trying to level the load.

Sorry that I didn't think of this. In this case you indeed need to set DRS to "Partially Automated" (assuming that nobody powers on VMs at that time), or Manual.
